I am more than aware that football existed before 1996, my great-grandad was playing for the club in 1923.

"Possibly because some of us remember paying only shrapnel to get in, you new breed cunt."

You do have to laugh when old senile cunts accuse younger fans of being new breed.

Pathetic really

"While the decision to cap tickets at £30 each will cost the Club over £2,000,000 in lost revenue over the next three years, the Club supported the move to ensure its own supporters benefited from the price cap when they travel to watch the Hammers play away from home."

Ah bless 'em. Sorry to be such a burden

All tickets should cost a tenner? All season tickets under £200?

Blimey - it's difficult enough as it is getting a ticket for the big games. That OS season ticket waiting list would be up to over 100k.

Chelsea were charging 25 quid long before 1996.

This is a great move. Only a fucking idiot would be arguing about it.

It used the be before the shitting Prem. I do appreciate however that it's hard for your ilk to even comprehend that football existed pre '96.

Re: All away tickets capped at £30 from next season
You honestly think watching a film should cost the same? I think the cinema is too expensive, considering you can own it legally for a tenner about 2 months later.

You're just proving my point. It should never cost more than a cinema ticket to watch a game of football. But I'd happily settle for a score.

The fact that demand far outstrips supply for most teams shows that they've by and large got the prices right. That's not to say this isn't a good move though.

haha you make me laugh. £30 for a premier league game of football. I went to the cinema this week, its cost me £30 for the pair of us. Therefore £30 is good value for what you're getting. Prices of everything has gone up since you paid "shrapnel" you old cunt.

Norf - people on here will moan whatever they do. They could both give their entire fortunes to charity and they'd get called cunts on here.

Cant believe some people dont think a game of football is worth 30.

Possibly because some of us remember paying only shrapnel to get in, you new breed cunt.

It's a step in the right direction, but the greedy fuckers could easily have gone down to a score.

Good news, pleased for those that go, travel is very expensive especially if you have kids.

Nice that just two clubs are being quoted on Sky Sports News. Arsenal for knocking an extra £4 off and us for subtly moaning that we're losing £2m by doing this.

5K from everything I've read yes

Re: All away tickets capped at £30 from next season
Wow they're losing a whole 2 million over three years.....put into context that's AC's wages for under 5 months...which probably equates to about 5 games

Only West Ham could release a positive but of news and manage to word it in a way that gets people's backs up......I suppose that's the price you pay when you have a wannabe politician in charge....spin EVERYTHING even if it doesn't need spinning

Re: All away tickets capped at £30 from next season
If the club are WELL in favour, they'll be following their favourite club's lead and giving us all an extra £4 off I suppose?

Are arsenal the biggest losers here...

You have to give it to the Liverpool fans who walked out... Started a chain reaction

I see Spurs and arsenal have freezes tickets as well

Didn't G&S vote against the away ticket cap?
